First let me tell you that I'm 49 years old and just picked up knitting needles for the first time after Pandemic Christmas 2020. I spent a few days figuring out how to do the knit and purl stitches on some chunky yarn and big needles. I wanted to make something useful, but had no idea how to read a pattern and no idea what yarn or needles to use, so I went on a search for something easy to make and found this kit which has everything you need for the project — no struggle to figure out the right kind of yarn, needles and accessories. I was overwhelmed when I received it since I had no idea what I was doing, and I had to start over many times due to my own learning curve, but learned so much, gained confidence and ended up with a very nice hat. If you are new to knitting, I highly recommend this kit.
